2024–2025 School Year
Open House
Our Back-to-School Open House will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Parents and families, please pick up your student's schedule and meet their teachers first.
K–5 Families: Check in at the elementary building.
6–12 Families: Check in at the secondary building.
Please visit the gym for transportation information, parking passes, athletics information, and community resources from some of our partners.
For new RMP families, a meet and greet with Dr. Collins will take place during the open house from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the secondary media center.
Back to School Skate Events
RMP will host two back to school skate events for scholars to be able to meet their teachers and have fun with classmates!
- Where: Star City Skate & Play, 1131 N. Wesleyan Blvd., Rocky Mount
- When: Tuesday, August 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for elementary scholars (grades K-5) Thursday, August 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for secondary scholars (grades 6-12)
- The price to attend is $8. All proceeds will go toward restocking our school uniform closet and supporting our scholars who are experiencing homelessness.
Please note: All elementary scholars must have a parent/guardian present with them at all times.
2024–2025 School Supply Lists
The grade-level school supply lists for the 2024–2025 school year are now available!
Some teachers may recommend additional teacher- or class-specific supplies. Please visit with teachers during open house once your scholar has received their schedule for more information or questions about school supplies.
2024–2025 Bus Transportation
The bus routes for the 2024-2025 school year are now available! We may adjust bus routes and pick up/dropoff times before the first day of school to accommodate the addition of new scholars. We will send a final version of the bus routes prior to the first day. If you need to request bus transportation or request a transportation change, please fill out this transportation request form, and our transportation director will contact you. Please visit the transportation booth in the gym during open house if you have any additional questions.
