Rocky Mount Preparatory School is a tuition-free public charter school founded in 1997 by local business leaders. Their goal is to provide a rigorous, world-class education designed to prepare scholars from all backgrounds for success in college, career, and life.
Our Scholars
From its inception, the school’s founders have embraced the principles that all children can learn and that every scholar should be challenged to reach his or her maximum potential.
Parents across nine eastern North Carolina counties have made the choice for Rocky Mount Prep to teach and guide their young scholars.Today, RMP educates over 1,000 scholars from kindergarten through 12th grade.
