Rocky Mount Prep is a public charter school, serving scholars in Kindergarten through 12th grade. As a charter school, we are supported by public funding, are tuition-free and open to any scholar of eligible age who wants to attend. Parents are able to choose for their child(ren) to attend or may withdraw them based on how well we meet their needs.
Our application process is simple. No tests or assessments are required until after an offer of admission has been extended and accepted. It’s just that easy.
The admissions application includes basic student and family identification information. If you have multiple children, a separate application must accompany each prospective scholar.
Applications are no longer available for the 2016-2017 school year.
Applications for the 2017-2018 school year are available online starting February 1, 2017. Our open enrollment period is from February 1, 2017 through April 3, 2017. Applications submitted in the open enrollment period will be entered into our admission lottery taking place on April 10, 2017 at Rocky Mount Prep. Our admissions lottery is open to the public. For more information about our enrollment process give us a call at (252) 443-9923.
*Please note this application is only for new scholars seeking admissions. Returning scholars will have intent to return information available through the school.
Enrollment for each grade is subject to capacity. In the event that there is a surplus of applicants over capacity, a lottery will be held to determine which scholars will enroll for the upcoming academic year.
